AT&T Offering $10 DSL

According to this news item on DSL Reports, AT&T has started offering a $10 DSL service as part of an agreement it made when they merged with BellSouth. But they're not advertising the offer, according to DSL Reports. I did a Google search and didn't find anything on it either. Interesting - they had to agree to offer the very inexpensive DSL service but they don't have to market it.

I thought the AT&T BellSouth merger was interesting, because I can remember when they broke up AT&T in 1984. Sounds like we're going in the other direction now.

10 Minute Email

Seems that everybody is getting hold of people's email addresses and sending them junk mail forever. There are many solutions to this problem, one of which is Yahoo's AddressGuard.

But there is one I just stumbled across that seems unique, simple and free. It's called 10 Minute Email. Go to their website and click a link to get a free email address that is good for 10 minutes. Any email messages that arrive for that address will be displayed on the web page. The web page refreshes itself periodically. You can also extend the time for another 10 minutes if needed.

Very cool, especially when you're trying to do something and you just know these guys are going to get your email address and spam you to the end of time.

Rosie Gone from the View

I have to say I'm happy that she's off the View. Not because I watch the show, but because she had a mainstream platform to spew her hate of America. Check out these videos on You Tube to see some of Rosie's anti-American point of view. We'll see where she shows up next.
